The Many Benefits of Hexagonally-Structured Water

Solving the water quality puzzle with nature's perfect solution

It seems I've been told all of my life about the importance of drinking plenty of water every day.  The problem is: try as I might, I just couldn't force down enough to meet the guidelines everyone was talking about.

It's not that I didn't try.  I really did; it's just that water — any water — tended to make me sick.  And it never seemed to quench my thirst.  The more water I drank, the thirstier I felt.  And then I'd feel the digestive distress — heartburn and/or nausea — and I'd get a headache that could kill a horse.  Sometimes I'd just get really woosey — kind of dizzy, kind of spacey.  It wasn't a pretty picture — at least for me.

Still, I tried to get the water everyone said I needed.  I tried every solution I could think of, but nothing worked.  At least, not for long.

Benefits of adding essential oils to water

I've found several benefits to adding therapeutic-grade essential oils to my drinking water.  Among them are:

  • Improved digestion and liver function: Adding peppermint oil or DigestZen to my water has done a lot to improve my digestive and liver function.  Both are very soothing to the digestion and provide a concentrated source of phyto-chemicals that have powerful effects on the system.  They also help with bad breath caused by digestive dysfunction.
  • Improved lymph function: Adding a drop of cypress oil to either wild orange and grapefruit oil or the Citrus Bliss is an excellent way to clear the lymphatic system.  It's very refreshing and gives the whole system a lift.
  • Improved oral health: Adding essential oils to water provides powerful anti-bacterial activity to your water.  Since starting to use the oils in water, I've had much less trouble with dental plaque or tartar, and any infections of the gums disappear almost immediately.  And for those times when I bite my cheek or tongue, the oils help the wound to heal very quickly.

Of course, essential oils make really excellent supplements, as well, and adding a drop or two to water can be a convenient way to take advantage of the power packed into every drop.

After trying everything else I could think of — and failing miserably — I finally discovered therapeutic-grade essential oils, particularly peppermint oil.  Adding a drop or two of oil to a liter of purified water and giving the jug a good shake before drinking seemed to work the best.  I could tolerate the water much better (though not entirely) and I found some other benefits, as well.

But still, I simply could not get enough water into my system in a day.

I knew this was a problem, because of a strong sense that my liver was not clearing as it should, and not having a good solution to my water puzzle made me reluctant to pursue a liver cleansing program as I should.

John Ellis machine: The answer to my water dilemma, part I

Drastic needs require drastic measures.  For me, that meant taking a very expensive gamble.

In January 2005, I saw an ad for a different kind of water distiller.  The ad claimed that, instead of just boiling water to create the steam that then condenses into distilled water, this machine mimicked the way nature distills water — through a process of heating and cooling, evaporation and condensation. It also energized the water, adding electrons to the water clusters, and changing the angle of chemical bonds.  The concept sounded intriguing — and quite possibly like a lot of hooey.

But, like I said, I was desperate.

So, pretty much against my better judgment, I ordered one of the distillers — at a cost of $1,500.00.

Observed benefits of the John Ellis water machine

After receiving the distiller and figuring out how to operate it, I ran off my first few gallons of water.  Then, with considerable anticipation, I gave it a try.

One thing I will say about this water: It is the cleanest-tasting, most refreshing water I've ever had.  And, best of all, I could drink it in fairly large quantities without much negative effect.  It left me feeling purified — in a way that I had not felt in years.  And I felt more energized and generally more alive during the day.

But one of the most amazing things to me was how it affected my sleep.  To understand this, you have to remember that I have Fibromyalgia.  One of the symptoms of this is significant sleep disturbance (what most people think of as insomnia, I think of as a good night's sleep).  But the first night, after starting on this water, I slept through the night.  I don't think I even rolled over during the night (and my sleep is generally the most exercise I get in a day).

I knew right off that I'd found something important.

Hexagonally-structured water: The answer to my water dilemma, part II

As delighted as I was about the John Ellis water machine, it really is a hassle to use.  You have to hook it up to your kitchen faucet (as it's commonly called in Nebraska) and run the thing for about 1½ hours per gallon of water.  And it lets off an enormous amount of steam into the room.  That might be fine in Phoenix or Tucson, but in a humid climate like Nebraska, it can be very bothersome — no matter how great the water is.

A word about Vita Genesis:

The company I was introduced to was Vita Genesis, Inc.  It sounded like a good company with a promising business potential.  One of the things that really sold me on it was that there were "still" Founder positions open.  This was supposed to have enormous profit potential, as the company rolled out its 30-minute Infomercial and other national advertising.

But one promise after another was broken, and it fairly quickly became evident that the business was going to be a bust.  Nothing was working out as planned.

The final straw for me was that, when Vita Genesis changed suppliers — ostensibly to give us a better product for less cost,

  1. the new water formula didn't perform like the original, Scalarwave water, and
  2. the new water was not pure.  It contained — at a minimum — chlorine, which had serious negative effects on my health.

I believe deeply in the benefits of drinking hexagonally-structured water; however, Vita Genesis is not the place to get it.  Their water is not pure and way over-priced.

And so, I was very interested when I received a spam email promoting a business opportunity marketing a hexagonally-structured water.

I know, I know: you should never, under any circumstances, respond to a spam email.  It only encourages spammers and helps to make everyone's life a little worse.  But I couldn't help myself.

I checked out the company a little (but not nearly well enough), plunked down my money and started getting the water.

Observed benefits of hexagonally-structured water

I was really impressed with the Scalarwave structured water.  It provided me with most of the observed benefits of the John Ellis water, without the hassle of having to take over the kitchen for several hours at a time and fill the house with fog (a slight exaggeration).  All I had to do was add an ounce or two of the water concentrate to a gallon of water, give it a shake and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and voilà!  Hexagonally-structured water.

As with the John Ellis water, I didn't have any trouble drinking enough water in a day.  I noticed several other things, as well.  These included:

Structured water isn't a cure-all; but when you consider that your body is largely water, and that almost every metabolic function is dependent upon water, understanding the need for proper hydration becomes a no-brainer.  And the water that your body craves the most is hexagonally-structured.

But really, isn't this all just a lot of hooey?

I realize that the idea that you could take an ounce or two of what is really just water, add it to a gallon of distilled water and have anything but water sounds really strange.  A lot of very smart people say that it's nothing but a con.  But the fact is, as of 2006, there has been more than 40 years of scientific studies on the structure of water.  The leading researcher in the field (although, not the most well-known) is Dr. Mu Shik Jhon, a Nobel Prize-winning scientist that even the skeptics recognize as a world-class scientist.

The truth is: water is not a simple substance.  At the molecular level, it is very dynamic.  It is constantly changing form, and has different properties in each of its miriad structures.  If you're skeptical about this, I'd encourage you to get a copy of either Hexagonal Water: the Ultimate Solution or Dr. Mu Shik Jhon's book, The Water Puzzle and the Hexagonal Key.

I guarantee it: You'll never look at water the same way again.
